Hi, I'm Christina Jeffers
I was born and raised here in Odessa, Tx, and am a wife and mom of 2 awesome kids. I graduated with an associate degree in photography at Odessa College in 2017, and started out by working in corpate studios. I have around 10 years of experience in almost all types of photography, but specialize mostly in family and studio portraits.
I do studio lighting and on location natural outdoor sessions. I consider my photography to be natural, life style, timeless, and a little whimsical, with a deep/rich, true to color, warm/bright/sunny, and crisp editing style, but I do also love to add in some contrasty fine-art black & white images.
I like to hear my clients ideas and visions to add to your personal experience and inspires me as well. I'm all about variety, trying new things, and mixing it up for my clients. I always aim for my clients to feel relaxed, be themselves, and have fun with their session.
I've always been very passionate about photography and chose ShootingLight as my name because photography is all about the light, but even more it is about capturing the beauty & light in the world and within all of us. It's an amazing feeling to get to catch one in a lifetime moments, and to see and feel the love, joy, and connection between families and their love ones & be able to create it in an artistic photograph people are proud of and can hold on to forever. I hope you'll give me the honor of making beautiful, quality art for you and your family.
